We are proud and excited to announce an extraordinary scientific collaboration on the topic of nocturnal enuresis (bedwetting) between Dr. Sagie Bedwetting Clinics and Prof. Siam Oottamasathien, MD from Harvard Medical School.
Prof. Siam Oottamasathien is a Pediatric Urologist, Associate Professor of Surgery at Harvard Medical School, and the Director of Pediatric Urology Basic Science Research.
The collaboration between the two parties will undertake a better understanding of nocturnal enuresis (bedwetting). Past research results have been inconclusive due to limited diversity and small sample sizes. However, Dr. Sagie’s Bedwetting Clinics, established in 1984, has had extensive clinical experience, providing relief to more than 100,000 bedwetting patients. Their far-reaching expertise will now provide Prof. Oottamasathien’s research team with the world’s largest and most diverse clinical database on this topic.
The exceptional quality and academic resources of Prof. Oottamasathien’s medical research team, coupled with Dr. Sagie’s database, will eventually lead to a more comprehensive understanding of bedwetting through this extraordinary collaboration.
Our hope is that this joint project will eventually establish improved diagnostic and therapeutic tools, consequently improving the quality of life of millions of children around the world who are currently suffering as a result of involuntary nighttime bedwetting.
